ovulation phase mini guide

As we all know, ovulation is that girl of your cycle. It’s our body’s natural expression of light and radiance, where creation moves through you with ease.

If the follicular phase is like spring (a time for regrowth and new beginnings), ovulation is our summer. The phase where our mind, body and spirit are at full bloom.

This basically looks like glowy skin, magnetic confidence and the burning desire to connect, thrive and express ourselves.

Let’s learn how to navigate our prime phase so we maximize our feminine energy while keeping our body nourished and balanced.

hormonally, this is whats happening:

Estrogen is peaking right now, and your body is releasing an egg. this rise in estrogen gives you that extra confidence, energy, and glow.

Luteinizing hormone (LH) also spikes, triggering ovulation.

testosterone gives you a little bump too, which comes with a higher libido + strength gains.

foods to focus on:

Your body is expending a lot of energy as it prepares to release it’s egg and also detoxing high levels of estrogen, so fuel matters:

  • oysters – high in zinc, balances hormones + supports skin. (use that fully charged social battery to go to happy hour with the girls)

  • antioxidants – (think matcha, berries, + citrust fruits!) these boost collagen and helps combat oxidative stress while your hormones are peaking.

  • carrot salad – the fiber in raw carrots helps clear excess estrogen. (TRUST me when I say this will keep you bloat-free and your skin glowing)

supplements that (actually) help

  • Sports ResearchVitamin C – for immunity, skin, collagen support and reducing oxidative stress

  • Magnesi-Om Magnesium Powder sooo good to add in your nightly sleepy-girl mocktails. It relieves bloating and cramps + the l-theanine gives you a calming boost.

(Add magnesium glycinate to your night routine if you need a larger dose!)

  • Momentous Zinc – if your skin tends to break out around ovulation, zinc can help regulate it

embodying this in the physical world

This is the phase where you’re in full bloom. So this week:

  • go out and be seen! let that man take you out, schedule a girls night, or even indulge in a luxury solo date

  • share what’s been building inside you: create content or document moments of your life, have a deep conversation with a friend, write something you really want your future self to remember in your journal

  • get deeeep into your creative bag: spend extra time in your hobbies, create new outfits, experiment with a new makeup look

You’re meant to be seen right now, so lean into it.working with your inner energy

working out

This is the time to push yourself. Your energy and strength are at their peak, so take advantage:

  • strength train with intensity (high weight, low reps) if you want to build muscle

  • sprints, HIIT and anything that pushes you past your max is highly encouraged at this time

  • workout with your girls or in a class! (dance, hot yoga, pole fitness, pilates etc etc) feel extra fun

  • keep recovery in check with good sleep + protein

last thought

This phase teaches us what it means to glow from the inside out. Not because of effort, but because of alignment. Ovulation is where the feminine shows us her light, her warmth, her openness to life. It’s your invitation to express, to connect, to fully be seen… and to trust that rest will come, and the rhythm will continue.
